News :: Dropmachine.com - e13 Freechucker!

This one is dedicated to all you Freechuckers out there.

You know who you are:

  • It’s for all you riders whose pre-ride bike check consists of spinning the rear wheel just to make sure the tire isn’t rubbing the frame. Yeah, you cased that landing pretty hard yesterday. But now you’ve got that line pegged. And if it is rubbing the frame well . . . it’s just paint, right?
  • It goes out to all you riders who don’t really care that you only have four working gears in the rear. You started losing gears last season and never got around to figuring out why. Why not? Because there’s riding to be done.
  • It’s for the ones that get up on a rainy Saturday morning and don’t let the closed chairlifts keep you from getting some runs in. You have a pickup truck, or at least your buddy does, and he needs to get his ass out of bed and do some shuttle runs anyhow. Besides, he makes great coffee.
  • It’s dedicated to all of you who lock your front derailleurs in the middle ring with the limit screws because you don’t need to use that stupid granny gear. It’s just dead weight. But you haven’t taken it off yet because well . . . there’s riding to be done.

The Freechucker is a new type of chain retention system inspired by everyday riders who ride hard and ride frequently in muddy and low maintenance conditions. With no moving parts, dual bash protection, and an open mud-shedding design, it’s truly a set-it-and-forget-it for years of riding retention system.

Plus, it works a heck of a lot better than a locked out front derailleur or a couple of plates.

e*thirteen continues to bring new technologies to cycling so your ride can be more fun. Through the same advanced stamped steel manufacturing process used for the recently released SS+ and LS1+, and the implementation of our direct mount and impact absorbing bashguard  technologies,  e*thirteen has produced the most technologically advanced, price conscious freeride chain retention system in the world.

                                                                      Just say Chuck It!
