The 15th stop of the 2009 Bicycle Film Festival makes it's way to Toronto, Ontario in an all-out celebration of two wheels.

The party starts on Wednesday, August 19th at 9pm with the event Bike Rock where the Toronto group Do Make Say Think play live at  Polish Combatants Hall 206 Beverly St.

The next day is the Bike Art Party at Cartel, 498 Queen St W and that starts at 7pm. Following that will be the After Party at the Drake Hotel at 1150 Queen St W.

Friday August 21st is when the movies begin. The Royal Theatre, 608 College St, will be the place for all of the screenings. A couple of short films followed by the epic filmWhere Are You Go. A must see. After the films, make your way down to Cinecycle at 129 Spadina Ave for the After Party.

Saturday is the big day where the schedule is jammed packed full of events starting at 1pm for Hell Track. Once that's over it's back to The Royal for more movies starting at 5pm. A couple of short films then the premiere of the feature lengthI Love My Bicycle: The Story of FBM Bikes.

Following that, starting at 7pm will be a program dedicated to short films called Fun Bike Shorts. Among them there are four Canadian directors displaying their work. Included in there is Ontario filmmaker, Andrew Pierias (director of local movies Entrails and Battlegrounds), and his film Sixtycycle.

Starting at 8pm is the Urban Bike Shorts Program. Included in this session is Toronto's own Nicholas Kovat and his short film titledFixiology.

Of course, after the show it is once again time for another After Party.  The last one will be held at STUDIO 294 College St.

There you have it. A full week of bike festivities right at your disposal. It only happens once a year and it's a great chance to meet like-minded people, support your local artists and celebrate everything Bicycles.
