The Small Block 8 from Kenda is a pretty simple tire to figure out, what with its minimal block size and quite accurate description on the Kenda website. Still though, its got a few surprises in it, some which are nice, some which are not.

Sometimes you don't need to spend a lot of money to make a big difference. if you're a flat pedal rider, the 5.10 shoes are about the best upgrade you can make, and they won't cost you a ton.

When Fox Racing Shox puts out something new, people tend to pay attention. Everybody that rides knows Fox. They’re everywhere, and for good reason. Simply put they make good stuff.

For 2010, Fox took a big leap forward by introducing 2 excellent product revisions to some of their key offerings:, the RP23 and the 32 line of forks. To say that they are impressive is an understatement.

Pimp hubs are a right of passage for bikers. Considering your bike is all about rolling forward (and occasionally backwards) it makes sense to have something high end and sweet where the action is. A sweet set of hubs aren't going to make you the next DH/ FR/ XC star, but its fun to have them, and they add a bit of style to your bike. We got our hands on 6 sets of high end hubs, and ran them all against each other trying to figure out whos best.

I believe other places are listing it around 496 instead of 550 .. perhaps the 54gr difference is a 10mm thru axcel rear? also a nice link would be to the verious youtube links that show how noisy each rear hub is - I found it funny there are so many vids to compare hub noise Great review... interested to see if those seals free up on the stealth too.
	secret agent - February 25, 2010 I have a Hadley 72 engagement- 4pawl and picked it up from TreeFort Cycles for $265.00. The cheapest I could find a King hub was $421.00. Price are in US dollars. This hubs will spin forever. After I had the wheel built, I had to center the disc brakes slightly. While doing this, I had the wheel spinning, I went to get an alen key, and it was still spinning well. I let it go, and it spins and spins. Pretty impressive. The engagement is excellent. I love it on the skinnies and pedaling off stuff. It is there for you. I have only had a chance to ride it at Joyride, and will put it through its paces on the trails this spring. I am quite happy so far.
	secret agent - June 1, 2010 There is a reason for the noise concerns. I actually find the hub a little noisy on the trails. It's not horrible, but when it's all quiet in the woods, you really notice it. It becomes a slight irritant after a couple of hours.
	bethextrem1 - August 19, 2010 What ceramic bearings are in the hadley hubs?I guess they're hybrids because FULL ceramic bearings cost between US$100 and US$150 each. I take it the prices you've shown are from LBS because you can get CK front for US$179, rear for US$379 free postage worldwide. So with the prices I've quoted would you still go Hadley?

In the cycling world, no other product has a reputaion like a King headset. Everybody wants one, and those that have one love it to death. Its beautiful, it works better then anything else, and its got an attitude attached to it like nothing else.

So really, what is there to review?

	(-XAdrianX-) - November 26, 2006 It's too bad King can't transfer this reliability and perfection to their hubs. Don't get me wrong, I love my king hubs, but the rear needs more attention than my wife and my mistress combined! My trials bike is set up with chris king classic hubs front and rear and of course a king headset. The front has given me no trouble, nor the headset. The rear however seems to like to loosen itself and requires service probably 100 times more often than my hadley. Of course, when well maintained, it's an incredible hub. It sure would be nice if the cone would stay tight for more than a few rides though.
	kifu - December 6, 2006 For those "monster huckers" you can't forget about the StealSet, it's the best headset in the world made for stainless steel. But kings have a 10 year warrenty thats basically no questions asked. And for those that want there headset to survive a nuclear holocaust (or have to much money) there is the Ti NoThreadSet. For me, I'm happy with my pretty pink King.

Mace seems like one of those companies that just never gets the respect that they deserve. They go along and quietly make thier stuff, and it all fits and works great, but other companies get the love and hype. Doesn't seem to fair.

We got to try 3 lovely bits from Mace, the Drogue Short, the Mirage glove, and the Mirage jersey.

Besides shorts, gloves are probably one of the more personal articles of bike clothing on every cyclist's shopping list. Not only is fit important, but comfort, function, style and how much space there is to wipe your snot are all factors in choosing the right gloves for you. I chose the Dakine Covert (for girls) and I'd do it again, too.

I am warning you now, this is going to be a very boring review. Any review without a ton of stuff to bitch about is boring, and unfortunately the Rock Shox Argyle just doesn't give you much to bitch about.
