It was another great weekend of racing at the 3rd round of the Ontario Cup. The weather was perfect, the spectators where making noise and Trek bikes swept the podium.

Another race, another podium finish for Primary-Trek Racing. This past weekend was the first Ontario Cup 4x race in Milton. Rob Fraser was the only team rider there as his mates Dean & Dom spent the weekend training DH in Bromont. Dean and Dom are focusing their efforts on DH, while Rob is making himself into an al-rounder, a bit of a Cedric Gracia if you will. Rob has now podiumed in 5 different events, Dirt Jump, Super D, 4x, Hardtail DH, and DH.

The last few weeks have been really busy for the team. There has been so much racing it’s hard to find time to hammer out an update!  First there was Ontario Cup DH #2 on May 17th. Team rider Dean Tennant won his second ever O-Cup DH, with teammate (and current O-Cup DH Series Leader) Rob Fraser close behind in 3rd. Earlier in the day Rob also won the hardtail class. Teammate Dominick Menard who couldn’t make the trip out for the race says he was definitely the fastest guy on the bike path that day back in Montreal thanks to his Trek Madone 5.2.

This past weekend the second Ontario DH race of the series was held near Barrie at the Heights of Horshoe resort. The two-minute long course had a range of technical aspects, jumps, pedalling sections, fast corners and finished with a very tough mud section.
