The 2009 Manitou Dorado (Feature)
For the 2009 season, Manitou has reintroduced their 8 inch Dorado downhill fork. The price tag will be more than most can reel in, since the fork retails for 3900$! There is no point in sugar coating the truth, Manitou is facing great adversity and the next couple of seasons will be pivotal to their survival. Many still recall Rock Shox’s similar state a few years back when they were bought by SRAM. This being said, an important question still resides in the minds of many die hard Manitou fans: If SRAM was able to fix Rock Shox, could Hayes fix Manitou? (Since both are owned by HB Suspensions).
